I was so shocked to hear that Lee McQueen had died, it makes me feel very sad.  I heard the news when I put the television on, whilst ironing, the volume hadn’t come on and I was intrigued to know why Alexandra Shulman was on the BBC news.  I was so dismayed; first Michael Jackson and now this…  and they say these things come in threes.

Alexander McQueen is, by far, one of my favourite fashion influences; and I think this is the same for many, many people.  Such a brilliant mind; creative and so special.

I am confident that his extraordinary-ness will continue with a little help from the right people but he will be missed, very much, by so many.

(I hope this is all making sense; I’m finding it difficult to put all the things I am feeling into words that can be put together)

I hope that, wherever you are, you can rest Angel.
