Armistice Day is very important to me.  I have giant respect for those who fought for us; their bravery is unimaginable & unquestionable.  I can not, therefore, understand anyone who ‘forgets’ to wear a poppy.  It is something so small that represents something bigger, arguably, than the universe.  Also, the poppy is a beautiful scarlet colour which adds light and warmth to a possibly otherwise ordinary outfit and brings the best out of a probably dull, autumnal day.  And it’s a floral accessory – fabulous!
